Gail and I took a quick trip to Park Rapids today to 1) meet with Jenny (the builder) to pick out paint colors and 2) (more importantly) check out the cabin. As you can see, it's near completion and looking really, really great! I will admit that when we walked in, we both squealed, hugged and jumped up and down.
We're holding the paint colors we've chosen for each room so you can have an idea of what it will look like. Our first painting weekend is February 21, so grab your paint brushes and join us! :) Jenny says we'll even have the plumbing operational, so why wouldn't you??

I keep pulling this blog up to look and "gaze" at the pictures. It's unbelievable, and so exciting. When I think about how devastated we all were last June, and now it's looking so wonderful...we all have so much to be grateful for and to look forward to. We will be spending many happy hours there and make new memories. Much love, Joann
