Painting Weekend!

Much progress this weekend and we even fit in some fun! Patty got off work unexpectedly, so decided to join Bri and Matt when they came up on Saturday. Naturally, the dogs needed to come, too, so they added to the mayhem.

Gail and Linda's DAY OF FUN!

Gail and I took a quick trip to Park Rapids today to 1) meet with Jenny (the builder) to pick out paint colors and 2) (more importantly) check out the cabin. As you can see, it's near completion and looking really, really great! I will admit that when we walked in, we both squealed, hugged and jumped up and down.

We're holding the paint colors we've chosen for each room so you can have an idea of what it will look like. Our first painting weekend is February 21, so grab your paint brushes and join us! :) Jenny says we'll even have the plumbing operational, so why wouldn't you??

Getting Closer!

Kevin and I made a quick trip to the cabin today to drop off the exterior lights Gail and I selected yesterday. The trim is almost done and the cabinets come next week! Woohoo!
