We finally got up to Park Rapids on Saturday to check the cabin's progress. It's coming along nicely and we really got a good idea of how it will look. The interior walls are all framed and they've started the siding. The bad news is that they're using the wrong siding (lap siding instead of shakes), so we'll be talking to the builder on Monday. Anyway, they're moving right along and there should be plenty of room for all!
We think the exterior looks a little austere, but Kevin has an idea of a wraparound deck and deck/pergola combination to soften it. Now we just need to hold a bake sale to come up with the cash...

Hi, just looked over your pictures again on OUR computer. Got it back yesterday, and hope to have them get us an e-mail account on Monday. Can't wait to hear about your trip up there again this weekend! Tomorrow is our big goose/duck dinner.
